LOHAIA respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit lohaia.com or place an order, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Lohaia Limited, registered in Hong Kong at 6 Tonnochy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong SAR, China. For anything privacy-related, contact us at info@lohaia.com.

2. Data we collect

• Identity & contact data: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, provided when you order or contact us.
• Order & payment data: what you bought, order value, and payment status. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we never see or store your card details.
• Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and how you found us, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Correspondence: emails and messages you exchange with our support team.

3. How and why we use your data

• To fulfill your order (performance of a contract): processing payment, shipping your parcel, sending order and delivery updates, and handling returns and exchanges.
• To support you (performance of a contract / legitimate interest): answering questions and resolving issues.
• To protect our store (legitimate interest): fraud prevention, security, and troubleshooting.
• To improve LOHAIA (legitimate interest): understanding how the Site is used, in aggregate.
• To send you news and offers (consent): only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you’ve signed up for them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Opting out of marketing never affects order-related emails.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and session working (for example, remembering your cart between visits) and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the Site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.

6. Sharing your data

We share personal data only with the service providers who make the store work: Shopify (our e-commerce and payments platform), our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers (to deliver your order), and our email service provider (to send transactional and, with consent, marketing emails). Each processes your data only on our instructions. We never sell your personal data.

7. International transfers

Lohaia Limited is based in Hong Kong, and our service providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where we transfer personal data of customers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision.

8. Data retention

We keep order records for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve your matter and for a reasonable period afterwards. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.

9. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
• restrict or object to our processing of your data;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

10. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our store or the law evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
